This year’s La Poderosa Conference is grounded in the theme Rooted—a powerful continuation of our 2024 theme on resilience.

In order to grow, we must first be rooted. Before we can bloom, lead, or build—we must be anchored. This theme invites us to pause and reflect on what keeps us grounded: our identity, our culture, our values, and the paths of those who came before us.

To be rooted is to stand firm through adversity, to draw strength from our experiences, and to honor the places and people who shaped us. It’s about finding stability in who we are, so we can grow intentionally, powerfully, and unapologetically. We’re reminded that our roots aren’t just where we come from, but what fuels everything we grow into.
